A global soil property database
for environmental modelling

Although over time additional soil properties will be generated, the downloads here refer to S-World version 2.1 (the version that was also used in Stoorvogel and Mulder, 2021 ). Four soil properties were included in the analysis describing soil organic carbon contents (expressed in 0.1%) of the topsoil and subsoil and soil texture over the entire soil profile in terms of percentage clay and sand. The data can be downloaded per continent from the table below.
